Based on an award winning design, Tangible Software leveraged its capacity to enter the electronic payments market with the introduction of Tangible Payments, an enterprise web payment service, in 2003. From its inception, Tangible Payments was designed to support large enterprises with complex technical, security, and business requirements. Based on these capabilities, Tangible Software has been able to capture premier customers and projects in both government and public industries. Tangible Payments is made up of the following components:
- Payment Management Portal: The Tangible Payment Management Portal (PMP) is a robust system that allows merchants to initiate payments, manage their transactions, and manage their customers. Initiated payments, including electronic check and credit card payments, and sensitive data are encrypted and stored securely within the Tangible Payments data-store. The PMP is convenient and safe for customers and enables clients to accept as well as administer recurring payments, which aids in minimizing costs. Users can search for and view transactions or generate a transaction report for a specified date range. Viewing transactions gives the merchant the control to handle inquiries about the status of the transaction. With the ubiquity of online payments in today’s market, scores of companies claiming to provide secure payment gateways have sprouted up, often with questionable practices which could lead to fraudulent and unsafe processing of highly sensitive information. Tangible Payments is guaranteed to be a 100% secure portal that is both reliable and affordable for its clients.
- Electronic Bill Presentment: While the Payment Management Portal (PMP) is meant for use by the merchant, Tangible’s Electronic Bill Presentment System (BPS) is designed for the end customer. The BPS allows customers to manage their profile, view current and past invoices, and make payments against one or more invoices. The BPS also manages creation and distribution of invoices through a variety of options (e.g., email, direct mailing, etc.). With BPS, your clients are able to receive invoices instantaneously and make payments at their earliest convenience, which greatly reduces the turnaround time for payments.
- Open API: The Open API is a set of web services, which allows merchants to integrate with most features of Tangible Payments. Using this API, merchants can easily integrate their systems to initiate transactions, manage customer information, and view transaction information. For example, merchants who perform bulk payments can use the Open API to initiate transactions on a daily basis. Tangible Software’s track record of satisfied customers speaks volumes of our commitment and qualifications. Our focus on professionalism, passion for technology, emphasis on customer satisfaction, portfolio of work, and superior market position and collective knowledge allows Tangible Software to successfully provide an electronic payment platform for any organization regardless of size or complexity.
